About the Florida CUREN

Founded on October 4, 2002, the Florida CUREN is a member organization of Credit Union lending professionals working directly in the area of real estate. Our purpose is to provide the membership with effective and continued education and development in the field of credit union real estate through networking opportunities, educational meetings and access to vendors/suppliers in the area of real estate lending.

The Florida Credit Union Real Estate Network (CUREN) is dedicated to enhancing credit union real estate potential by developing, educating, promoting and providing a professional support system for all Florida credit unions.

The Benefits of joining the Florida CUREN

FL CUREN members gain education on current and new real estate trends in areas of loan programs, regulations, proposed legislation, the latest software, vendors specializing in credit unions and the latest services from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac & the Federal Home Loan Bank. Plus, the FL CUREN meetings offer a great opportunity to network with other credit union professionals! Once you become a member, you gain access to a complete directory of Florida credit union mortgage professionals like you!

Membership

Qualifications to become a member of the FL CUREN include:

  • A completed membership application. Click here for a membership application.
  • An initial $250 membership commitment with annual dues of $150.00. These funds help support informative speakers, operational costs and quality educational programs. If you are undecided, check us out free of charge! Potential FL CUREN members are permitted to attend their first meeting free of charge. Thereafter, attendance fees apply unless you submit a completed membership application along with your $250 commitment.
