Interest in CU Mortgage Lending Rising…

As I sign off for 2012, I reflect on another great year for CU Mortgage Lending. We continue taking positive steps forward in the midst of increasing regulatory compliance issues and a housing industry working through the long awaited recovery.

I thank all of you for your contribution to our achievements. The Credit Union mantra, “People Helping People” is alive and well. It is true we have much more room for growth in terms of mortgage loans and members. It has been my life’s long belief these two are inextricably linked and work together to strengthen the CU system for the long term. It was not that long ago our message, CUs make mortgage loans…did not seem to have any traction in the minds of consumers and Realtors. Judging from the following link below, again we are making progress and I look forward with great excitement for the New Year.
