Peter Hurst is Senior Vice President of Regional Accounts for Enact. He is responsible for leading the company’s Field Sales Team team and their engagement with more than 1,700 regional customers, including more than 350 credit unions. Previously, Hurst managed the company’s National Account segment. Before joining Enact in 2014, he worked at Fannie Mae for 12 years in various positions, including Director of Regulatory Affairs. Hurst has worked in the mortgage industry for nearly 25 years from a small community bank to the largest mortgage bank in the country. He holds a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation. Hurst graduated from Towson University and received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the CMB Society, and the Mortgage Action Alliance.

Tian Liu has served as Chief Economist for Enact since 2014. He is responsible for tracking and analysis of U.S. and regional economic conditions. Liu is the author of the company’s Economic Reports and provides regular updates on housing and mortgage markets. He began covering the U.S. housing market in 2007, and his commentary has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNBC and The Washington Post. Liu has a Master’s Degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the Australian National University.
