John Sayre is Vice President of Client Success for Curinos and has been a Secondary Marketing and Business Development professional in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. Sayre has held senior positions at Guardian Mortgage, Caliber Home Loans, and Nationstar. He also spent 15 years at Fannie Mae with his last position being Vice President of Single Family Business for the Western United States. Sayre holds a degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and lives in Dallas, TX.

Rich Martin
Director of Real Estate & Consumer Lending

Martin leverages Curinos’ solutions suite to enhance client engagement and lending performance optimization. Prior to Curinos, Martin held various senior roles in both capital markets and margin management functions within both depository institutions as well as regional and national independent mortgage companies. Martin graduated from the School of Business and Leadership at the University of Puget Sound. Outside of the office, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two children.

John Smith is Director of Residential Lending Sales for WSECU. He has more than 30 years of experience providing financial services, managing systems and leading people. Previously, Smith was Senior Manager of Mortgage Sales at BECU. He holds a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.

Bob Padula

Bob Padula is VP of Mortgage Lending at Empower FCU. Previously, he held leadership positions at Empire FCU, including VP of Lending, VP of Information Technology and Consumer Lending Manager. He has also worked as an Internal Auditor. Padula received an MBA from Le Moyne College and a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Utica College of Syracuse University.

Jeff Coward
SVP of Finance, Pricing and Analytics
Virginia Credit Union
Jeff Coward serves as SVP of Finance, Pricing and Analytics for Virginia Credit Union. He is responsible for loan and deposit pricing, credit risk management, asset-liability management, liquidity risk management and mortgage secondary marketing. Coward also serves as an advisor and mentor to the VP of First Mortgage at VCU. Previously, he was the VP of First Mortgage origination and servicing at VCU, where he oversaw the team’s growth from 12 to 70 employees and transition from a refinance to a purchase-money shop. Coward also served in executive roles at Saxon Mortgage, Inc. He has more than 27 years of mortgage industry experience that spans origination, underwriting and secondary marketing. Coward has also directed implementations of pricing, underwriting and origination, and of secondary marketing systems. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Coward and his wife have been married for 27 years and have two daughters.
